What could you do when your flagship stores are located in areas where people are always rushing? Give them a better reason to run. Using micro-location technology, we reached out to targeted customers, to make them run for the deals of their lives.
Because the uPick app was preinstalled on all Samsung phones, we were able to notify people living in the area of upcoming races. Those who had signed up would be poked, when passing by specific locations, to start running to the nearest store. If you made it in less than the given time, prizes were all yours to win.
